For delegates returning from the Super Mission – think about sending good wishes to your new China friends and take a step towards building a good relationship. As you’ve no doubt heard again and again – it’s all about building relationships! Good luck. Oh and happy Moon Festival too.

When Chinese delegations come to Australia they usually bring an interpreter and some materials in English. Yet people seem to think the converse is not true. In fact to succeed in China you not only need to have a great product or service, but you also need to make sure that it is ‘sold’ effectively through your choice of a Chinese translator or interpreter. You could argue that you are 100% in the hands of the translator to get your message across. Also, a word of warning about the ‘interpreters’ coming from China – you’ll need to engage your own interpreter on your side to get the right story.
